The event mascot for the American DESIGNER CONVENTION has a character named VINCENT.
The character was designed by Scott.
We modeled a low-polygon style model of VINCENT last year at the 2022 DCON and gave the 3D printed model to the organizers.
The organizers of DCON liked the gift so much that they suggested we make a soft vinyl version! The organizers of DCON liked the gift so much that they decided to make it into a soft vinyl figure,
We are going to produce the soft vinyl as soon as possible and sell it at DCON2023.
However, we will not be selling the color version, but rather an unpainted body at the 3DRETRO booth.
We thought that the shape would not be clear with the bare body,
I molded a skin-colored body and painted it with VINCENT colors. Here is the figure.
The painted version looks lovely and cute like this.
I hope the painted version will be available someday!

アメリカのDESIGNER CONVENTIONのイベントマスコットキャラクターにVINCENTというキャラクターが居ます。
キャラクターデザインを担当したのは、スコットさんです。
去年の2022年のDCON時にVINCENTのローポリゴン風モデルをモデリングを行い、3Dプリンターで出力したものを主催にプレゼントしました。
そのプレゼントを大変気に入ってくれたDCON主催者がソフビにしよう！と言ってくれたので、
急ピッチでソフビを生産し、なんとかDCON2023にて販売することになります。
ただ、カラー版ではなく、塗装はされていない素体を3DRETROブースにて販売します。
素体だと形状がよくわからないと思ったので、
肌色の素体を成形して、VINCENTのカラーで塗装をしてみました。それがこちら↓
塗装をするとこんな感じで素敵かわいくなりました。
塗装版がいつの日か販売されるとよいなー
